  10. I just read all of your posts.. now to graduate your course, I will pull some of my early food photos from my website and see if I can't fix them with Picasa! I've just been using Microsoft Photo Manager with the "auto fix" button but I am no always happy with the results. Also... I will be going to the craft store soon to get craft paper! I have white counter-tops so I need to spice-up the backgrounds a bit.

Thank you so much for posting this!!!

  15. Hi there--I stumbled upon your blog a few months ago and, have been following you ever since! I saw this new book that was released and thought of you. Thanks for all of your hard work, not only in sharing recipes but, in providing excellent tips & suggestions on related topics like food photography! I used your guide when purchasing my own digital SLR to do my own food photography (I ended up w/ a Nikon D3100 & love it)! I'm att'g an example of my own upma recipe/photo!

  20. Hello Nags,

You have an amazing blog here! Its unbelievable how you manage to make even the most simple dishes look so stunning. Kudos!

After seeing your photos and also having read your introduction on Food Photography, I am now totally inspired to try and get some photos of my own! The information you have given is invaluable to beginners like me (who doesn't even know the very basics of a camera; let alone photography!!) - so easy to understand and interesting to read. Thanks a lot! Hope to start my blog sometime soon...=D

Wishing you a happy and prosperous 2012. Keep up the good work.

    Regards,
    Roshni

  22. Hello Nags . Came across your blog quite by accident. You are amazing. Really love your photograpy tips, especially the post about Aperture and Depth of Focus. Please continue this series of posts. Probably you could add the learnings from your Project 365 - 2011. It would be really helpful for aspiring bloggers like me.

  24. Hi Nags,

How are you? Wanted to check with you on two things:
    1. I just started my blog but not sure how to index it in Google search engine. Could you tell me how you did it?
    2. Also there are some of your recipes which I have tried that I would like to post on my blog - there will be a link to your original post but I will be using my photo on the blog. Would you mind that?

Please let me know on above. Thanx a ton! =)

    Regards,
    Rosh

  25. Hey there Rosh,

I don't do anything specific to index in Google. There's an option in Blogger that says display blog in Google search. Make sure ou have chosen that option. The rest will happen slowly, but steadily.

You can definitely post my recipes you tried and link to the original recipe post, no worries at all :)

    Good luck :)
