For a long time, my ...Awww Nags, you made me proud. For a long time, my vadas were shapeless bondas too. As with everything else, it takes some practice and patience (underline that) to get the right shape. However pretty the shape is, it ends up to be a mishmash in our stomach. Who cares how it looks, as long its tastes good.

Adding rice flour is a good tip for watery dough. There is a catch though. The vadas should be eaten while warm. Once cooled, they become very hard and chewy. Thank you for trying out the recipe.Suganyahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12821337638419512585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1086051288758826033.post-77932184671320279752008-07-04T13:37:00.000+08:002008-07-04T13:37:00.000+08:00yes it is mine!! i wrote to that blog owner. lets ...yes it is mine!! i wrote to that blog owner. lets see if i hear from him/herNagshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00065092085963619873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1086051288758826033.post-2431312509684945692008-07-04T09:26:00.000+08:002008-07-04T09:26:00.000+08:00Nags, wonder if this is your pictureNags, wonder if this is your pictureMishmash !http://www.blogger.com/profile/18038923718366741085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1086051288758826033.post-89781202147746934502008-07-04T03:30:00.000+08:002008-07-04T03:30:00.000+08:00true, if it is deep fried, it better taste good :)...true, if it is deep fried, it better taste good :)
vada's look nice n crisp.Richahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08386161012677274105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1086051288758826033.post-7404457871654232842008-07-04T03:07:00.000+08:002008-07-04T03:07:00.000+08:00That looks fabulous!
