Make checkerboard cakes, and eat them too!
I have been slightly besotted with checkerboard cakes in the past couple of weeks.
Although doing it the hard way is definitely an option like Sunita and Ria have tried but I'd rather waste money buy one of these cute little pans and try them (because shopping for bakeware is as much fun as the actual baking part!)

ReplyDeleteHC, I have that in my wishlist too!!
I want it too!!
ReplyDeleteOh ho! This is not a difficult thing to do. Trust me, if you have the time to change your clothes to go out to buy the pan, you can make the pattern yourself at home! It's that simple! 2 cakes, 2 rings and that's it! Interchange the inner rings and sandwich them all and there you go! Done! Simple ! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting cake - checkerboard or otherwise, I'd like a piece of that action...Superb :)
