Another Onam, Another Sadya Opportunity Missed!
This is the fourth consecutive year that I'm not home for Onam. Will miss the sadya that I definitely cannot put together on a weekday, a Wednesday to boot!
I do have some Onam Sadya recipes sprinkled here and there in the blog so thought of putting it together in one list in case any of you are looking to make some.
Wishing all Malayali readers of Edible Garden a Wonderful and Prosperous Onam this year :)

ReplyDeleteHappy Onam..
ReplyDeleteHappy Onam. I feel kinda nostalgic about now. Onam only comes around once a year, and here I am, stuck behind my desk, whittling away my time wondering how I can get out to find an Onasadhya around here.
ReplyDeleteRight now, I'm stuck in my office, wondering how, if at all, I can sneak out to some restaurant serving onasadhya. Not easy. I'm the only Keralite in office, and as far as I know, there are no good mallu restaurants within 3-4 kms of office. How I long for some paayasam right about now.
hammy - and how i can relate to that feeling :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Onam to you Nags. Hope you get to be with your family next year at least. We were invited to an Onam Sadhya yesterday and it was beyond impressive and that is my first taste of Onam.
